I also needed a business to fit my flexible schedule. This business is exactly that. So we decided to take our family with the business on a 3 month trip to Australia and South East Asia. THE PROBLEM THAT LED ME HERE: For years, I worked in the janitorial industry, but I knew deep down it wasn’t the right path for me. Seeking something more, I transitioned into the oil and gas industry. At first, it was great—but the long hours and constant time away from home started to take a toll. I wanted to be present for my wife and children, not just provide for them from a distance. I knew I had to make a change.
THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BUST: I spent years driving a tractor-trailer Super B unit, delivering butane, propane, and NGL products. It was demanding, but I pushed through—until an injury forced me to stop. Looking back, I believe that moment was a sign. It was time to rethink my career, my future, and the kind of life I wanted to create.
THE BUSINESS THAT WAS A BOOM: That turning point led me to the business I still run today—partnering with a global personal development company.
